Scale With Abhi ("we", "us") is run by Abhi Sharma, an individual (sole proprietor) based in India. This policy covers scalewithabhi.com, our free bootcamps and 1:1 sessions, and our paid programmes. We handle personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Free bootcamp registration: your name, email address and WhatsApp number.
- Free 1:1 request: your name, email, WhatsApp number, the session type, and anything you choose to share: a resume link, your question and times that suit you.
- Programme application: your name, email, WhatsApp number, years of experience, and optionally your current role and what you want from the programme.
- "Notify me": your email address.
- Learner accounts: your name, email, phone number and a password (stored only as a one-way hash), plus your attendance, mock interview feedback, 1:1 requests and certificate record.
- Ad attribution: if you arrive from an ad, the campaign tags in the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content) are saved with your form.
- Usage data: if analytics or ad tags are active (below), pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, and whether you completed a form.
We don't collect payment card details on this website.
How we use it
- To send your joining link, reminders and session follow-up by email and WhatsApp.
- To arrange your free 1:1 and let your mentor prepare for it.
- To review your application, contact you about fit, and share payment options.
- To run your cohort: schedules, recordings, mock interviews, mentoring and certificates.
- To tell you when a programme you asked about opens.
- To measure which ads and pages work, so we spend less on the ones that don't.
We don't sell your data, and we don't add you to unrelated marketing lists. Reply STOP to any WhatsApp message, or email hello@scalewithabhi.com, to stop messages from us.
Cookies, analytics and ads
We use one essential cookie (swa_session) to keep you logged in. When enabled, we also use Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and the Meta Pixel. They set cookies to count visits and to tell us when someone who clicked an ad registers, and Google and Meta may use them to show you our ads elsewhere. You can manage this through Google's ad settings, the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, Meta's ad preferences, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Who we share it with
Only with the services we need to run things, and only what they need:
- Our hosting and database provider, where the site and your data are stored.
- Email and WhatsApp messaging services, to send your links and reminders.
- Google and Meta, for analytics and ad measurement as described above.
- Your mentor, for your 1:1s, mock interviews and reviews.
We may also disclose data when the law requires it.
Certificates
If you complete a programme that issues a certificate, it gets a verification page showing your name, the programme and the date. Anyone with the link can view it, so you can share it with employers. We ask search engines not to index these pages.
How long we keep it
We keep lead data (registrations, requests, applications) for up to 24 months after your last contact with us, and learner records for as long as your account exists so your certificate stays verifiable. We delete it sooner if you ask.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent to messages at any time. Email hello@scalewithabhi.com from the address you used with us, and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
Our programmes are for working engineers and students aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
